Nasolabial (Cheek Fold or laugh lines) Augmentation
In a similar way as in with lips, the folds can be augmented with any of the fillers mentioned above. This will not replace a facelift (short scar or classic technique) but may help to delay surgery. It is commonly being used in adults of any age to rejuvenate this region of the face which tend to give a premature aged look.
The laugh lines were here treated with the temporary hyaluronic acid. One can appreciate the softening of the lines, both below and above the corners of the mouth.
